As a Retail Sales Associate my Responsibilities Include:
-General Customer Service, assisting shoppers with product information and tailoring my pitch dependant on the customers needs.
-Store Operations, processing returns/exchanges and how that affects our stock.
-Merchandise Management, using excel to track what we have in store and what needs to be ordered.
-Market Insights, knowing what upcoming sports gear demands are and rearranging the store layout for efficiency.
-KPI Driven Sales, 2 product sales per hour
DecoRug is a family-founded Australian retailer, known for being “more than just a rug store.” While they built their reputation on decorator rugs, they also offer carpets, timber and laminate flooring, custom shutters, blinds, and cushions. DecoRug combines quality, value, and traditional craftsmanship.
As a Sales Consultant at DecoRug my Responsibilities Include:
-On the Floor Customer Service, assisting shoppers with product information and adapting my sales approach to suit their individual needs.
-Showroom Presentation, rearranging the store regularly to keep us up to date with current trends.
-Onsite Selling, measuring rooms for custom fitting and upselling our products.
