I joined CMC Markets after leaving my mechanic role in October 2023, it was my first ever office job and I have thrived and grew at an exponential rate.

I first joined the CMC Invest team on the stockbroking side which I was on that team for 5 months and in that time I completed my first two RG146 exams (General advice & Tier 1 securities.)

I then applied for an internal role promotion despite me having not passed probation yet (6months), this was for a move to the CFD desk which is highly complex derivatives and also a change from the cost side to a profit making side of the business.

I then completed the further outstanding two RG 146 exams, Forex & Derivatives. I also completed my exchange traded options training to which I am now level 5 options trained.

Our whole CFD team then underwent a change and we got promoted to the Barangaroo office to come under the leadership of the distribution team surrounded by the CFD dealers, sales traders & sales team.

At this time our managers were made redundant my now small close team of 3 handled the reins and thrived together to undergo this change and continue to provide world class customer service to our clients from UK, Canada , Singapore , New Zealand & Australia until we got another manager and things smoothed out.

I then managed what we called a middle book of clients, these were clients who are not quite ALPHA however they are mid tier high value clients. We each continue to manage a book of around 200+ clients on top of our normal duties. I also manage the PRO applications.

I am very involved in the global activities of the financial markets and very passionate about the markets and continuing to work at my craft.
