I am a hardworking student pursuing full-time employment in the engineering - metal fabrication (sheet metal) trade in 2025.
I am driven to learn trade specific job skills, along with the time management of tasks, and to help solve any trade problems or challenges.
Studying Industrial Engineering - metal, through years 9-10 in the "Trade Training Centres in Schools Program", I have obtained my White Card, along with gaining a small amount of experience with reading and interpreting drawings, the use of hand tools and machinery, and learned OH&S practices.
Using the basic equipment required to design and finish projects selected in the curriculum, I was able to complete a metal toolbox (cut, fold and pop rivet), coat hooks (bend flat steel, drill-press and finish with round rivets), and this year I will finish off a fire pit (laser-cutting, cold-saw, welding and grinding).
