I had a six-week Placement in year 2 & 3 class.

• I prepared and delivered interactive lesson plans to meet students' academic needs and supported mentor teachers in planning.
• Managed classroom behaviour to maintain safety and promote orderly learning environments.
• Developed innovative lesson plans by incorporating multimedia tools and hands-on activities, enhancing student engagement and comprehension.
• Helped students explore concepts with engaging, learning-focused activities.
• In the last two weeks of placement, I ran the whole class and took over all responsibilities.
• I participated in professional development programs held at St. Brigid's School during placement.
• I also built good relationships with students, colleague teachers and principals.

I had a six-week Placement in a childcare centre.

- 2 weeks in nursery room (0-2 years).

- 4 weeks in kindergarten (3-5 years).

• I developed interactive session plans for 0-5-year-old children.
• Supported mentor teacher in planning and managing children's behaviour.
• Utilized creative teaching strategies to engage children in learning.
• Assisted in creating a safe and nurturing classroom environment that promoted emotional well-being and academic growth for all children.
• Guided children to develop social, emotional and physical skills.
• Implemented behaviour modification strategies, resulting in improved self-regulation and classroom participation among children.
