Roles and Responsibilities at Coles Local:

Coles Local Pagewood has opened recently in may. Within a short period of time, I have completed comprehensive training prior to the store opening in Rose Bay Coles Local, which allowed me to familiarise myself with store operations, policies and customer service standards. However, during my time of working I have undertook:

Self-Checkout Management:

- Supervising the self-checkout registers, assisting customers with scanning and payment processes.

- Addressing technical issues with the registers and ensuring smooth operation.

Customer Assistance:

- Assisting customer locate products and providing information on store services and promotions.

- Resolving customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.

Store Maintenance:

- Ensuring the self-checkout areas are clean and organised, maintaining a welcoming environment

- Enhancing the organisation and products of each aisle.

Roles and Responsibilities at the cafe:

Cashier Duties:

- Handling transactions, operating the cash register and managing money accurately.

- Ensuring the correct processing of payments and providing change.

Customer Service:

- Taking orders.

- Bringing food and drinks to tables promptly.

Beverage preparation:

- Making and serving a variety of drinks, including cold drinks and other beverages.

- During peak hour, make sure to be able to efficiently and properly make everyone's drinks.

Cafe Maintenance:

- Cleaning the cafe, including tables, floors and all surfaces.

- Restocking supplies for the following day and opening team.
