Summary

In summary, I have worked in Child Protection for the past 24 years so have excellent Risk Assessment skills. I am confidently able to engage difficult and complex families and enjoy the challenge of assertive outreach to complete risk assessments to ensure the safety of our clients. I have extensive knowledge and experience in working with families who are impacted by drug and alcohol abuse, family violence and mental health and I enjoy working collaboratively with Victoria Police when investigating physical or sexual abuse. I enjoy mentoring less experienced staff and providing constructive criticism to improve their case practice. Working long hours is something that I am used to and I enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
