Summary

I am an experienced Advanced Care Paramedic II and a proud Eastern Gugu-Yalanji man, currently acting as the Indigenous Paramedic Program (IPP) Coordinator Clinical Support Officer (CSO) within CESU for over 12 months. With more than 6 years in the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) — including 4 years as an IPP cadet — I bring firsthand experience, deep cultural insight, and a passion for empowering the next generation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander paramedics.

Since stepping into the IPP CSO role, I’ve been instrumental in helping more FNR cadets than ever before progress into paramedic degrees, supporting them with structured education planning, clinical mentorship, and culturally safe guidance. I graduated with Distinction in Paramedic Science and am widely known across the Cairns region for maintaining high clinical standards, a strong connection to community, and a reliable, compassionate presence within the service.

With a solid foundation in paramedicine, critical thinking, and culturally responsive education, I am deeply committed to supporting Indigenous cadets to thrive within QAS. It would be a continued honour to lead and support our cadets as they pursue long, meaningful careers with the service.
