· Seeds of finger millet were treated with a Phosphate Buffer Solution (PBS) containing Ethyl Methane Sulphonate (EMS), while a control tray received treatment with PBS alone. The germination percentage was then assessed for seeds in both groups, varying the soaking duration.
• Recorded data of traits in small millets (finger millet, kodo millet , barnyard millet, foxtail millet, little millet, proso millet).
• Assisted in DNA extraction and confirmation of F1 hybrids through polymorphism screening of SSR markers in proso millet.
• Conducted an experiment using GIBBERLINS in pearl millet seeds for breaking dormancy and initiating the germination.
