- Handling/Transporting both packaged and bulk DG loads safely and following the relevant procedures while doing so.
- Following all proper safety procedures and protocols while loading, unloading and operating all vehicles and equipment.
- Providing exceptional customer service, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Adapting to abrupt changes in delivery plans and routes.
- Assisting with the production of new safety procedures that would benefit the company.
- Required to be able to reverse in very tight, limited space entrances and areas safely.
- Managing Fatigue.
- Training new HC Drivers and Sideloader operators.
- Also have experience with Oversize loads, Tautliner's, Flat deck's, Drop deck's, Retractable trailers, Refrigerated trailers and standard Skel's.
- Keeping both the truck and sideloader clean, safe, well maintained and damage free.
