Supported individuals in daily living activities, encompassing cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and personal care needs such as toileting, showering, dressing, and feeding.
Supported clients in developing life skills and achieving personal goals.
I have encouraged all my clients to consider the possibility of undertaking vacations as a respite for themselves, for their families or carers, and as an opportunity for themselves to develop skills and to experience new and stimulating situations.
I have researched, planned, and advocated for these vacations, and traveled with and supported people to locations as varied as Canada, Las Vegas, Disneyland, Cairns, Tasmania, Sydney, Uluru, Ballarat, Melbourne CBD, and Adelaide.
I have also been the organizer and driving force behind the 'BB's' pool playing team, which comprises people with disabilities and plays in a mainstream competition. We are based at Altona Sports Club, and I have been involved with the team for fifteen years.
Supported clients' social, physical and emotional needs to help integrate into local community.
