• Underwriter for Corporate Group and Retail Life Insurance products (Life, TPD, Trauma, IP/IDII, & GSC).
• Current DA limits: $1 million Life, $500,000 TPD/Trauma, $5,000 IP/GSC.
• Retrospective underwriting for misrepresentation and nondisclosure cases, determining amended terms, working with legal team ensuring we are meeting legal requirements within the Insurance Contract Act 1984 and writing up pro fairs.
• Building strong relationships with advisers with clear communication, managing exceptions and providing underwriting outcomes.

• Assisting underwriters with applications, organising medical appointments and doctor reports through our third party medical providers.
• Leading weekly meetings with our third party medical providers to improve and streamline our new business processes.
• Main contact for adviser and dealer group onboarding.
• New business and policy maintenance services contact for advisers and clients.

• Responsible for the client services team's retention of clients and decreasing the policy lapse rate.
• Ensuring agents are adhering to Quality Assurance and compliance to regulatory bodies (ASIC, APRA).
• Compliant resolution for escalated client complaints.
• Training and coaching agents in systems and insurance products (Life Insurance, Trauma, TPD, Income Protection and Business Expenses).
• Maintaining operating rhythm with regular one on ones and group trainings sessions to ensure agents are meeting company targets and industry standards.

• Supporting agents in dealing with client queries and ensuring they are adhering to Quality Assurance and compliant to business rules.
• Main contact for complaints resolutions.
• Training and coaching agents in systems and insurance products (Life Insurance, Final Expenses Cover, Trauma, Accidental Death, Accidental Injury).
• Responsible for identifying and improving operational processes and customer experience.

• Working off qualified leads to contact existing and potential clients to set up or amend insurance products and ensuring their insurance needs are met.
• Outlining the features and benefits of our products and offering quotations to suit the financial needs of the customer.
• Confidently communicate information on all products (Life Insurance, Final Expenses Cover, Trauma, Accidental Death, Accidental Injury)
• Hitting and exceeding fortnightly targets.

• Outbound Telemarketing third party organisation on behalf of ANZ bank.
• Selling ‘ANZ Income Cover’ to existing clients.
