• This role involved all areas of pathology collection: Phlebotomy, Taking swabs, ECG tracing, Holter monitors, Supervised urine drug screens, handling of all samples and ensuring the correct processes and paper work has been completed accurately

• This role involved providing support to the ENs, RNs and exceptional customer service to the donors
• Conducting the pre-screening Hb & BP checks
• Conducting standard donor interviews and data entry of donor information
• Performing venesection on donors and providing support whilst monitoring donors during the donation process and ensuring needle is safely removed and area appropriately bandaged
• Responding quickly to adverse donor reactions, alerting the RN on duty to the situation
• Data entry and ensuring all samples have been collected and written up correctly
• Samples and blood products packed correctly for transportation
