• During my time as a team leader, I supervised a team conducted staff training and managed daily operations to ensure a high standard of safety and customer satisfaction. My role saw me resolving customer issues, ensuring all safety protocols are enforced including the screening and maintenance of equipment and implementing improvements to increase team morale and cohesion. Throughout this period I equipped myself with essential skills needed to lead and be part of a team.
• In addition to my leadership responsibilities, I regularly assisted in the on-site café during busy periods. I handled customer orders, operated the till, managed cash transactions, and made hot beverages including barista-style coffee. This experience enhanced my hospitality skills and ability to thrive in high-paced service environments.

In addition, I worked at a very busy bar in Tunbridge Wells called Cassidy’s. Although I wasn’t able to stay on long-term due to upcoming exams, I made the most of my time there and gained a solid introduction to bar work in a fast-paced environment. I quickly picked up the basics of pouring pints, serving customers efficiently, restocking, and maintaining a clean, organised bar. The experience—though brief—gave me a strong foundation and showed me how much I enjoy the energy and teamwork involved in bar service. It definitely left me keen to build on those skills in a more ongoing role.
