In my current role I am leading a dispersed team and proactively participating in initiatives and projects including the APS Reform Agenda, Integrated Transformation Program and Strategic Commissioning Framework to support the department’s strategic direction.

Some of my key deliverables in this role included:

  • Led the implementation of the ServiceNow project as the branch representative and delivered a significant piece of Integrated Transformation Program to build a stronger corporate centre.
  • Facilitated six SES Recruitment Roundtable and two Mastercraft HR sessions and delivered successful projects from the key discussion including the Merit Pool and the Pre-employment Medical Assessment review projects.
  • Co-designed w the ‘On Country’ Program for an affirmative measure First Nations recruitment package specific for the Western Sydney International Airport Workforce Design Project.
  • leading the Veteran Employment Pathway Program (VetPaths) as a new participating agency in 2025. I functioned as the connector of HR services collaborating with other participating agencies in the 2025 program to implement the key program of work, including development of an inter-agency communication campaign, affirmative measured recruitment approaches and the support pillars.

In the role of Acting Director, Organisational Capability with the Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS), I was responsible for designing and implementing a range of recruitment activities, initiatives and strategies across the employee lifecycle that enabled the department to attract, recruit, develop and retain the right people, in the right roles, at the right time.


Some of my key responsibilities and deliverables included:

  • led the development and implementation of HR strategies, including People Capability Framework, People Plan and First Nations Employment Strategy.
  • Project managed several key implementations in the HRIMS system to shift the HR function at DPS from a heavily manual handling to an automated process included a tailored build API from recruitment to payroll which significantly improved the efficiency of the employee’s onboarding process.
  • Led the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Champions Group and Access and Inclusion Champions Group in the delivery of the new RAP and Accessibility and Inclusion Action Plan.
  • Delivered and events and training linked to the Australian Parliament House Diversity and Inclusion Calendar and the department’s Corporate Training Calendar.
  • Designed and implemented an employee-driven Mobility Register and Mobility Framework to enhance workforce flexibility and merit pool/list utilisation in line with the tactical Workforce Frameworks to build a fit-for-future workforce and drive organisational success.
