Family

I am extremely lucky to be close to my family. I value spending time with them as it has made me into the person I am today. I have spent time assisting with the caring of my grandparents and the additional requirements they need due to their Dementia diagnosis. This could vary from reading them a book, singing a song or doing a word search together. Physically they need a help in hand moving around from place to place around their home and out in the community. They have a set routine for mornings and bedtimes, helping them use the bathroom facilities, changing clothes and taking the appropriate medication alongside meals.
