I left Highschool in 2015 after receiving my GCSE grades to pursue a career in construction (plumbing). After completing and earing my level 2 diploma i had already been working and earing money in retail so decided to stick to it at the time. I have since worked in multiple roles. I consider one of my my biggest strengths to be my communication skills. I am reliable, punctual, hardworking, kind and motivated to excel in any role that i am working in.
My role in this job was to follow up leads who where interested in comparing health insurance options. Instead of persuading them to switch, my goal was to help people explore different health providers and find a policy that would save them money and provide them with the best coverage possible.
as a store supervisor, i would open and close the shop, organise rosters from time to time, deal with customer emails, sell ski/snowboarding passes, rental gear and transportation up the ski slopes. our service ensured all our customers received a stress free service to make life easier and more efficient to enjoy their ski trip.
we also sold other activities like skydiving, bungee jumping quad biking and more.
As a scaffold labourer, i was responsible for assisting in the construction and dismantling of scaffolding structures. I would from sometimes have to help assemble the scaffolding by connecting components and ensuring they are secure if necessary.
I was mainly involved in loading and unloading materials and maintaining a safe work environment.
This role is crucial in providing a stable and secure platform for workers to perform their tasks at heights.
