Highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. I possess the ability to easily interact with others, which can be seen as an asset to any career. I recently have just completed my first 4 week Professional Experience Placement at Play To Learn Toukley, where I was offered a casual position. I have a great connection with children and encounter daily interactions with children throughout my current part-time job as a barista, at the Anchor Cafe in Budgewoi. I have a strong passion for Early Childhood Education, and can not wait to begin working in the industry to develop my current skills and abilities that I am continuously learning during my Bachelor of Early Education and Primary Teaching Degree, at The University of Newcastle. I work casually at The Reject Shop in Lake Haven Shopping Centre when I am on semester break, and initiated my work ethic through the Mcdonald's environment where I became a crew leader at 15 years of age, before leaving for my current job at The Anchor Cafe. Although I do not have previous employment experience in Early Childhood Education, I receive excellent grades throughout my degree that highlight my passion and knowledge towards the learning and development of children. I am a very passionate and hard working individual, who is enthusiastic and ready to begin working in the industry, enabling me to apply the knowledge I am learning throughout my degree, into the workforce. Due to me being over 35% through my degree, I am qualified to be employed as a Cert 3 employee, or a Diploma qualified educator. At the end of the year, I will be 50% through my degree, allowing me to be recognised as an ECT educator, which can be an asset in your Early Childhood Education centre, if you wish to recognise me at that level of employment.
