I am a 20 year old Australian male who is fit and ready to work. I have had experience in many fields of work and am ready to learn more skills and have a hard work ethic. I value being on time and commitment and take extreme pride in any work i do.
At wilsons wreckers my job included general assembly of agricultural machines , eg Slashers , Rippers and parklands. I learnt how to use various hand tools and metal fabrication machines ( oxy acetylene , various grinders , files , and machines such as the linisher , punch the radial arm drill and automatic bamsaw) in order to start constructing parts from engineering drawings so that the other workers could weld them together. I also learnt the basics of machine operation using a crane and forklift to lift various objects to move or perform servicing or assembly work on them.
At Gp Ayres I learnt many valuable skills such as
How to operate tractors and drive them loaded with trailers loaded with irrigation pipes, fuel tanks and moving and installing mainline pipe up to 300 metre long sections at a time.
Loaded and unloaded farm supplies and materials and stored in correct locations.
Performed regular maintenance to keep farm equipment in safe working order.
Maintained and repaired fences, buildings and other farm structures as part of groundskeeping duties.
Checked farmland for issues in need of attention, such as fences to mend and broken pipes to fix.
Looked after a flock of 5000 sheep, conducting general duties such as drenching weighing and seperating lambs from main herd. transporting herds to and from yards to the pattock.
At Form Forrestry I learnt a number of basic horticulture skills and team working skills.
Daily jobs in the nursery included
watering seedlings
General care of seedlings eg fertilising , and weed management
I also learnt general organisational skills such as unloading and organising equipment.
On site ( multiple plantations) Daily jobs included planting seedlings , driving work vehicle to and from site and following basic planning.
Using work vehicles in off road situations to transport seedlings to designated planting areas. I also learnt how to use winches to free work vehicles stuck in mud and quicksand.
At coles i learnt basic customer service skills and how to stock products (fruit and vegetables and goods in store.
I worked in multiple departments (retail, fruit and veg, bakery , and nightfill.
across these departments i learnt how to use computers, for stocktake , automated till, and stocktake.
I also learnt how to follow WHS and safety procedures during Covid 19 pandemic such as cleaning duties to stop the spread of virus.
At the GSDP Great southern skill development programme i learnt how to Implement my skills as a soccer player and coach to supervise and coach a group of 15 kids. (under 13 years of age)
I displayed strong leading characteristics to focus each weeks session on a particular skill.
Each week included planning a multistepped
training session and game to develop siad players skills.
This job taught me how to lead a group of players and supervise them.
As a referee (umpire) I had to Study the rules of soccer and display strong decision making skills, In this role i learnt how to be vigilant and umpire game in non bias manner.
Displayed confidence in my understanding and decisions related to the game of soccer.
Commitment to the job was a key attribute as there were always other employees sick or unwell and I had to fill in for them after a long day of playing my own games and refereeing.
