  • Selected from the larger media team at Transport for NSW (TfNSW) to do a secondment to the office of the Minister for Roads as a Media Manager to the Minister
  • Prepare a range of high-quality communications materials for the Minister including media plans, media releases, Q&As and responses in a high-pressure environment, often with short deadlines
  • Responsible for preparing the Minister for radio and television interviews and media events, both in a proactive and reactive media context
  • Develop and execute the media strategy for the Minister’s varied portfolio with the Minister and his team for proactive local, regional and state based campaigns featuring effective media messaging for strategic infrastructure and roads projects for the NSW Government
  • Key liaison point between the media and the Minister’s Office and act as spokesperson as required
  • Work with the TfNSW executive team to ensure that the Government’s agenda is being met through actions of the department.
