  • As the Registrar and Director, I am responsible for leading a team of 12 staff over 2 registries in the Northern Territory. Working closely with the Executive Director and the President of the Tribunal I am responsible for day-to-day operations of the Tribunal Registry.
  • This includes:
  • Management of proceedings before the Tribunal in accordance with the Tribunal rules and relevant legislation
  • Supervision of Tribunal sittings and maintaining the Tribunal case records using the electronic Odyssey Case Management system
  • Maintaining a culture of high performance within the Registry with a focus on attention to detail and excellence in service delivery.
  • Responding to enquiries of legal practitioners, parties to proceedings and members of the public on matters of the jurisdiction and practice and procedure of the Tribunal
  • Quasi-judicial responsibilities in the Tribunals Original jurisdiction including acting as a Mediator.

  • As the State Head, I was responsible for leading a team of 50 employees over 4 offices in Queensland. I drove the strategic direction of the Queensland Work and Road Insurance practice to meet business performance goals. I provided leadership, support, coaching, legal mentoring, and guidance to the team. This included:
  • Leading on efficiency, legal file velocity and reform strategies for best practice.
