My goal is to obtain a position in Youth Care work where I'm able to utilise past and present experiences to help nurture and care for young people in need. I have many years experience working with young people in a residential framework, providing day to day support, developing and building positive relationships with not only the young people but their families, implementing therapeutic crisis intervention and management for high risk behaviours and much more. I pride myself for being able to asses high stress situations and provide appropriate intervention and solutions. I have a strong empathetic approach to my practise and I'm passionate about providing meaningful support and services to my clients.
