- Conduct comprehensive assessments which identify key client needs and identify relevant resources available to meet those needs
- Establish working relationships with key emergency relief/material aid sector organizations
- Administer MSP Emergency Relief to eligible clients according to MSP ER guidelines
- Ensure a caring and courteous communication style
- Report any concerns for client’s health and/or safety to a staff member
- Maintain privacy and confidentiality
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow reporting protocols
- Maintain accurate and transparent records for accounting and auditing purposes
- Notify Red Cross in advance if unable to attend on the agreed working day
- Research and compile information regarding external Emergency Relief providers in order to provide up to date referral pathways
- Participate in debriefings and meeting.
