  • Help people with daily tasks (eating, dressing, washing).
  • Support them to be independent.
  • Give emotional support and be a good listener.
  • Assist with moving around safely.
  • Help with meals, shopping, and cleaning.
  • Take them to appointments or activities.
  • Watch for changes in health and report if needed.
  • Keep records of care given.
  • Make sure the environment is safe.
  • Treat people with respect and dignity.
  • Clean and operate the food preparation equipment and see that all food is prepared in a safe and hygienic environment
