I am a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Midwife with nine years of experience in both the public and private sectors of Adelaide, SA, working with pregnant women/people and their families of varying complexities and needs across all areas of midwifery. I have a particular interest in antenatal care and assessment, having spent the past two years of my career working within the Women's Assessment Service at the Women's and Children's Hospital (WCH), working closely with the medical team sharing common goals of providing excellent maternity care to every woman/person who utilises the service.
A role working within the postnatal ward of the Women's and Children's Hospital, in addition to my regular contracted hours, where I recruited women to take part in a study undertaken by SAHMRI (South Australian Health & Medical Research Institute). The role involved;
Trained as Triage Midwife within the Women's Assessment Service at WCH
Trained as Shift Coordinator within the Women's Assessment Service at WCH
Fetal Surveillance Education Program (FSEP) completed in March 2023 with score of 86.7% (level 3 practitioner) on 31/03/2023
Current holder of a Mental Health First Aid certificate (Valid until 03/11/2024)
Completed Transition To Critical Care Nursing online course through Melbourne University on 21/09/2023
