• The 13 11 14 Telephone Crisis Support service offers support to people in crisis and emotional
  distress.
• The Crisis Supporter plays an integral role in keeping callers safe by assessing suicide risk and
  situations of distress, and then intervening and assisting accordingly.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be proficient in the application of the Lifeline Practice Model (CARE) for 13 11 14.
• Adhere to the 13 11 14 Service Code of Conduct and Lifeline and Centre policies and
  procedures.
• Participate in project meetings/forums/feedback activities as required.
• Meet annual accreditation requirements.
• Maintain minimum requirements concerning shift coverage, supervision and professional
  development.
• Participate in supervision requirements as well as recognise when additional
  supervision/debriefing is necessary and seek such assistance.
