• Manage the delivery of a range of high level, critical and strategic projects for the NCCTRC to ensure its objectives are achieved in a timely and quality manner.
• Develop local, national and international events kits, manage a team for exercise and development of AUSMAT personnel, develop capability documents to support equipment management relevant to local, national and international events and deployments.
• Prepare medical equipment during times of response, provide pre-deployment team briefings, just in time medical screening for deploying team members.
• Contribute to biomedical resources in the field and support with the development of guidelines and resources for clinical team members.
• Provide support and advice as required and when engaged in a disaster response, provide full back up and support to NCCTRC emergency response.

• Provision of clinical governance, management and oversight for all operational issues in support of the Royal Darwin Hospital multidisciplinary Trauma Team
• Provision of expert Trauma management advice and direction to medical, nursing, allied health and clinical support staff within RDH and across the Northern Territory
• Direct, monitor and report on patient progress to achieve optimal health outcomes across the span of Trauma care
• Development of strategies to improve the delivery of Trauma Services, such as the Katherine District Hospital bimonthly CQI video link up.
• Regular provision of Trauma education to multidisciplinary staff within Royal Darwin Hospital and the NT region

• Be a leader and expert clinical practitioner, facilitating best practice, optimal patient Trauma care outcomes through the provision of daily case management
• Attending major Trauma presentations on arrival into the Emergency Department, provision of specialist advice, coordination and facilitation of communication between team and inpatient clinical areas as required
• Collection and injury coding of patient data as per the 2008 AIS Injury Severity Scoring (ISS) principles
• Facilitating and teaching on Trauma courses both within the RDH and Regional Northern Territory

Flight Nurse – Part time 0.25FTE

• International and domestic retrieval and repatriation service, Adult and Paediatric high acuity critical care.
• Duties include, initial stabilization, resuscitation phase through to high level onboard intensive care management.
• Responsibilities also included, liaising/coordination with Medical Directors, Clinicians, Mission Coordinators, Pilots and Insurance companies.
