• Disassemble various kinds of pumps, such as split case pumps, submersible pumps, multi stage pumps, mono pumps, and other types of pumps that are used for food processing, potable water supply, mining industry, chemical plants, etc,...
• Documenting as found conditions of pumps external and internal parts.
• Clean parts to be reused and supply new ones accordingly
• Assemble same and test .
• I have proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations, as pump mechanic wasn't my usual occupation prior to this employment.

• Assigned in CCO [Component Change Out] section, which we're ask to remove and replace City Rail Trains Rotable Parts and Equipment, such as airbrakes, pantograph, chopper unit,camshaft unit, air conditioning unit, drivers control devices, draft gears, etc,..
• Reviewed finished equipment for accurate fit and assembly.
• Operated variety of tools and equipment to complete mechanical repairs.
• Reduced downtime by diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues efficiently.

• This position is located in Shop 38, Mechanical Machinery Group, Production Department, U.S. Naval Ship Repair Facility Subic Bay.
• we install, aligns,and repair ship's main and auxiliary propulsion machinery, includes steam driven, gas turbine driven, diesel and other I.C.E. engine, ordnance and hydraulic machinery, deck machineries,pumps, fire fighting equipments, refrigerating and air conditioning plants,aircraft launching equipment.
• any major overhaul of engine, air compressors, refrigeration compressor, galley equipments, are done in work shop, tested and re installation should be on time as the Seventh Fleet demands to be always ready for battle in war or in peace.

• As a Marine Machinery Mechanic Apprentice we are trained in different sections such as Steam Section, Diesel section, Hydraulic and Ordnance, Refrigeration Section, Drydocking Section.
• We spent man hours in each section to learn and have an actual experience of the nature and types of job done on each of them. We were required to work along side with a journeyman that will share some of their knowledge of the trade.
• We were required as well to attend classroom to learn about Trade Mathematics, Trade Science, Trade Drawing, Trade English, for three weeks in every quarter of the year for four years.
