• I support students for mealtime which I had to be trained for.
• I also do personal care for our students ranging from preps, middles & seniors.
• I participate in activities at times.
• 2-3 days in a week I’d been in a classroom; not always in the same classroom though I sometimes rotate.
• I got the chance to learn certain things such as how to communicate with a student using their pod devices & also Auslan signing. Had the chance of communicating with different aspects of disability.
• I’ve created bonds with a lot of students and I’ve grown to be comfortable with how I work and approach each one of them including our work staff.

I was only needed here for home care but only for 4 Months. But I was caring for an 18 year old who had cerebral palsy. I assisted him with meal time and also personal care including bathing.

• Updated signage with correct speeds and delay warnings based on daily conditions.
• Stood for Number of hours with "Stop/Slow" paddle directing traffic.
• Worked with foreman to create effective temporary traffic control schemes.
• Communicated with team members using hand signals and radios.
• Routed traffic around construction sites for worker and driver safety.
• Controlled pedestrian movements to prevent intrusion into work zones.
• Partnered with crew members to use stop and slow paddles for multi-directional traffic control.
• Assembled signs and cones to direct traffic through construction sites.
• Trained new traffic controllers to properly use traffic control devices and apply best practices.
• Coordinated with other agencies toestablish proper traffic control during periods of construction or other events.
