Rosemary Hale

I teach english to a range of students between the ages of 9-17. My youngest student is 10 years old with learning disabilities and lives in a low income home. I offer her discounted rates and provide her with extra educational workbooks. I actively advocated for her, leading her to receive funds from her school for further learning support. By advocating for her and supporting this student my passion for advocacy and being a voice for those who need it.

During my role as a barista, I learnt how to maintain a standard of production, including staying on top of the orders even when we were busy. Ensuring that quality was sustained has taught me the value of good quality work as Idouble checked milk temperature and grind quality. Ensuring quality control within the cafe has given me a keen eye particularly for spotting errors as I double check my work

I began working in hospitality at the age of 15 and gained knowledge and experience within the fast paced environment. The working environment has given me a curiosity for the corporate world as I thrive within a team setting and I am always ready to tackle new challenges.
