Summary

Experienced Plant Breeder and Geneticist. I have identified the causal gene for metribuzin resistance which has been identified by comparing the contrasting homozygous resistance (novel) and susceptible alleles from the QTL location from the causal gene. The identified gene can be validated using a functional gene validation technique useful in transgenic crops for metribuzin resistance.
