Summary

Dedicated Rideshare Driver with over 5 years and around 250 000km of experience transporting passengers and accomplishing deliveries.

With IT work, I work on building trust with the client by being honest and transparent and ethical. If I don't know something, I will say so but will assure the client I will find out. All parts and equipment, I organise the client to pay my supplier directly, so they are assured of the best price instead of paying me hefty commissions. My invoices explain what I have done in terms the client can understand.

In recent years, when picking computer hardware for a client, I favour energy efficient devices to do my bit to lower clients' carbon footprint. This strategy isn't generally appropriate for high-demand servers but the system components can be tweaked so that power is saved when the resources are not being used.

I tend to be meticulous with certain IT tasks, as required, and am always thinking about mitigating risks from un-managed cables that could be kicked out to more serious cyber security risks.
