Sam Drewry

Summary

As an experienced and competent clinician I have a comprehensive understanding of how health services functions, strategically and operationally. I am an effective and skilled leader and have successfully implemented change in a number of roles. Collaboration, communication, quality and governance have been the key to my success as a leader. I have come to conclusion that it is not always the error that makes the biggest impact - but the way the health service responds. We must evolve to a consumer centric system of complaints, investigation and resolution and evolve away from a corporate and compliance focussed approach. Genuinely putting the consumer, their family and the community at the centre of our approach is the only way to succeed, improve, change and grow.
