Hi, I’m

Sarah Livingstone

Mosman,Australia
Sarah Livingstone

Summary

I completed medical school at The University of Wollongong and achieved recognition of academic excellence, named on the 'Dean's merit List 2010.' I was selected onto the RANZCOG training program in 2014 and underwent training at Sydney's finest hospitals including Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, the Royal Hospital for Women and an additional fellowship year at St Vincent's hospital gaining experience in advanced endoscopic and urogynaecological surgery. I completed rural training experience at Tweed Head's hospital & also Royal Darwin Hospital. Currently, I am employed as a Staff Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at The Royal Hospital for Women where I enjoy caring for women without access to private health cover. I chair the Clinical Business Rule committee which oversees the review & implementation of hospital policies & procedures. I am the clinical lead for the midwifery group practice model of care. I work in the preinvasive unit managing complex high risk vulval disorder and preinvasive cervical abnormalities. I am passionate about provision of sound gynaecology care and have a busy gynaecology clinic & operating list. In addition to my public work I conduct private clinics at North Shore Health Hub and St Vincent's Clinic with VMO admitting rights to North Shore Private, Prince of Wales Private, Mater hospital and St Vincent'r private hospitals. I place great importance on tailoring a woman care to their individual needs and wishes. In my previous role as Senior registrar at RHW, a role I held for 2 years, I gained skills in leadership & administration. This conincided with the Covid-19 crisis and the added challenges to medical care at this time. I was heavily involved in JMO support and continue to be, I now hold a position as training supervisor for the RANZCOG. I continue to update my knowledge & expertise regularly presenting at and attending M&M meetings and O&G conferences/courses. My career goal is to bring enthusiasm, passion & improved expertise to women's health care in Australia. I am particularly keen at this stage in my career in broadening my skills and look to all opportunities to do so. I am reliable and keen. Thank you for considering my application.
