Summary

I am the founder and current vice president of the South East Queensland UHF Emergency Service Team SEQUEST. Which assists communities across radio, social media and emergency procedures. I have previously worked in a number of voluntary emergency services and held a number of management and support positions in emergency services sector, as I am dedicated to public safety thru the use of teamwork for a better outcome in helping those in times of need. I am have completed a Certificate 2 in Rail Infrastructure and currently hold the following QR certifications in SARC & WET and also hold a RIW certification along with my construction Industry White Card. I am currently working with Track Protection Services (TPS) as a Rail Corridor Protection Officer & Recipient I am keen to further my career in rail.

Provide protection for a workgroup outside of the Danger Zone and provide pre start briefs and conduct planning with the use of QR documents SW01, Corridor Access Planner,Maps.

Recipient duties cover From C & SCA

Undertake and plan work activities within three (3) metres of the energised “live” traction equipment, including overhead lines.

• Undertake work activities that have the potential to come within three (3) metres of the energised “live” traction equipment, including overhead lines.

• Supervise and manage electrical risks associated with work activities in or in proximity to the three (3) metre electrical exclusion zone.

• React appropriately and manage emergency situations in relation to Queensland Rail’s 25kV three (3) metre electrical exclusion zone.

Profile

My objective is to gain work opportunities to develop my current skills further to become an asset to any company or organisation., I am currently the founder and a front-line volunteer of the community organisation South East Queensland UHF Emergency Service Team - SEQUEST which helps the public in need of emergency assistance on UHF CB and Marine radio and provides essential weather and traffic on social media channels. I am also a radio operator and rescue crew member with Volunteer Marine Rescue Brisbane where I also hold a support role in the management of their social media channels. I also have completed CERT II in Rail Infrastructure (Track Work). My hobbies include photography, railway and local history studies.
