  • Assisted with the feasibility and implementation stages of setting up the East Pilbara Shut Team, which is currently being developed into a Pilbara-wide model
  • Played a key role in designing and implementing the modulisation of the Hitachi digger fleet shuts which has now been adopted by Hitachi and implemented across all Rio Tinto sites
  • Manage all excavator planning from the budgeting, parts, scheduling through to execution on Hitachi, CAT and Komatsu diggers
  • Maintain the 12-month look ahead for shutdowns across the five sites, fine tuning where needed to better suit the assets and site needs
  • Develop the shutdown closeout reports, including budget reporting for all shutdowns
  • Manage logistics around tooling and equipment from site to site
