• Competent and confident in Advanced Anaesthetic sills as I had been working in Emergency, trauma theatres and Cardiac theatres at Manchester Royal Infirmary
• Working Experience in Emergency, Trauma and Cardiac Theatres Made me Competent in Massive Blood transfusion, Difficult Intubation, Awake Fibreoptic Intubation, TEG Analysis, Toe Probe Insertion and Management etc
• Ensure all documentation relating to the patient is legible and concise and verbal reports are handed over in a clear and concise manner
• Assist the Anaesthetist in intubation, central venous catheter insertion, arterial line insertion PA line and Swans Glanz Catheter
• Supervise the safe custody, checking and ordering of controlled drugs in accordance with policy
• Undertaking venepuncture and cannulation, drug administration and blood transfusion in accordance with trust policies and guidelines
• Assess the patient’s health needs and reassess appropriately to control and attain desired outcome
• Work efficiently as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team
• Provide expert knowledge and participate in the co-ordination of emergency lists
• Mentoring and training staff and students, and conduct appraisals with junior staff
• Adhere to infection control measures and safety standards
• Attending Benchmarking meetings and participate in quality improvement measures in theatre Department.
