While working at the resort I was able to improve on my customer service skill and working under high pressure during our busy school holiday seasons.

From there I had the opportunity to expand my skills and became also a bartender where I would prepare over 300 cocktails a day from a set menu.

Some skill I have developed while working are:

• Resolved billing disputes promptly, maintaining professionalism and customer satisfaction throughout the process.
• Collected room deposits, fees, and payments.
• Maximized revenue by upselling room upgrades and additional services.
• Handled cash transactions accurately, balancing daily reports at the end of each shift.
• Efficiently opened or closed the bar according to established procedures, ensuring preparedness for each shift.
• Maintained a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Increased customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and crafting high-quality cocktails.
• Enhanced overall guest experience by promptly addressing concerns and resolving issues professionally.
• Developed loyal clientele by consistently delivering outstanding service and engaging in friendly conversation.

Working at APCO has allowed me the opportunity to learn new skills which include:

• Customer Service
• Restocked and organized merchandise in front lanes.
• Helped customers complete purchases, locate items and join reward programs.
• Operated cash register for cash, check and credit card transactions with excellent accuracy levels.
• Checked identification for proof-of-age for alcohol and tobacco sales.
• Handled inbound contacts and provided customer service according to departmental policies and procedures.
• Food handling, barista skills and kitchen hand.

I have recently joined Junortoun post office and been able to use my skills adopted from APCO. I have became a lot quicker at following instructions and very capable at working under pressure. This job is quite physically demanded with the handling of parcels.

Other skills I have gained are:

• Weighed letters and packages and calculated costs based on classification, weight and destination.
• Management of parcel, including sorting, stacking, shelving.
• Billing system and payments

• Responding to customer enquiries
