· I have 9 years of experience in Maritime, I started as a GPH and have progressed to Master 45m NC and MED 2 Engineer. I have worked on a variety of commercial vessels including ferries, luxury motor yachts and charter vessels.
· I am focused on progressing my experience and skills within the maritime industry.
· I work very well in team environments, I use clear communication and working safely is my highest priority.
· I take pride in my profession, I have a positive attitude, I enjoy taking on new challenges and learning new skills to enhance my capabilities in my role. My goal for the foreseeable future is to be a successful Port Officer and a valued asset at the Port Authority of NSW for many years to come.

- I started my role as a Port Officer on the 27th March 2023
- I completed the POE training phase and progressed to PO1 on the 15th of June 2023
- I’ve enjoyed learning my new role and working in the marine ops team
- Job highlights so far – The training the Port Authority has provided to me, including - BEO, firefighting, sea survival, Tanker familiarization, and Helia crane operation courses
- Daily I enjoy the versatility in work ranging from incident, emergency, pollution response, ship/tanker safety inspections, vessel bunkering checks work permit auditing and ship escorts
- I’m enjoying working on Port Authority’s variety of vessels especially most recently training on the new jet propulsion multipurpose vessels Burra and Girawaa.
