Summary

I have always been captivated by the functionality and evolution of the world around me, with a deep recognition that the planet’s survival is intricately tied to nature. This understanding fuels my passion for innovative design, efficient solutions, and environmental preservation, driving my pursuit of a career in STEM. My aim is to create positive environmental and social impacts, particularly through leadership roles that prioritize education and community engagement.

Currently, as a Research Scholar Recipient, I am conducting an extensive study on the factors influencing women’s career choices in the Australian construction industry. This project has honed my skills in project management, data analysis, and professional communication through delivering presentations, facilitating monthly meetings, and preparing a research journal article for publication.

In addition to my academic endeavors, I am a Swim School Supervisor and AUSTSWIM Assessor. In these roles, I manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling lessons, supervising instructors, and ensuring exceptional customer service standards are upheld. I also assess swim instructor candidates to ensure they meet industry standards. These experiences have strengthened my leadership and organizational abilities, as well as my commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Beyond my supervisory responsibilities, I am a passionate Swimming Instructor and Water Polo Coach. These roles allow me to instill confidence, promote teamwork, and develop strategic thinking in individuals of varying ages. Additionally, I have served as a High School Tutor, where I refined my ability to communicate effectively, mentor diverse learners, and tailor my teaching methods to meet individual needs.

Through these varied experiences, I have cultivated practical skills in leadership, customer service, and team management. My ability to guide, inspire, and organize individuals of all ages and backgrounds positions me as a dedicated professional capable of enhancing the operations of St Hilda’s Swim School. I am eager to bring my enthusiasm, experience, and passion for swimming and education to the role of Swim School Coordinator.
