  • 1. Development and Placement of Posters of Attire change in Surgical Admissions and Recovery Area: Posters of Attire Change were developed and placed in the change rooms and Holding Bay area of Surgical Admissions Area, to improve the errors of wrong attire wearing by patients. The posters were helpful for patients with hearing impairment, with AUSLAN interpreters and language barrier patients.
  • 2. Survey, Feedback and Data Development Post Transition of Model of Surgical Admissions and Recovery Area into two individual admissions and recovery areas: A Survey was conducted to attain the feedback from staff members after the transition of SAR Model into two separate admissions and recovery areas. And the feedback given was developed into data that has shown that this new model enabled in improvised care model of patients.
  • 3. NS5 Falls, Pressure, Nutrition and Hydration Audits:
  • Performing NS5 Falls and Pressure Risk Audits on yearly basis, follow the gaps and implement educational presentation around the gaps and follow up with another audit, if required.
  • SPS Projects:
  • 1) Hybrid Model Project of Re- Usable Instruments and Single- Use Instruments: Liaising with NUM and ANUM of different departments, including OPD, CIC, ED, and Inpatient ward to bring this hybrid Model in actual practice.
  • Audit of the Resight Trays-Performance of Quality Audit of the Resight Trays, to update the quality of the Resight tray lens used for Vitrectomy and major eye procedures by ordering and replacing the worn-out lens by new lenses, as per annual budget of SPS.
  • Conversion of Paper- based Theoretical Endoscopy Assessment to Online version- Re-assessment of the previous paper- based question framework and introduction of the new online version in e- learning (by working in conjunction with NUM and Kathryn Heagerty)
  • Expiry status update of Instruments in Insta-count– Currently working on the actual expiry status of Instruments in Insta- count (Computer Software- SPS) from 2010 to 2022 by comparing their physical status in different departments of RVEEH.
