Project: 700km of 220KV, 330KV & 500KV Transmission line project connecting Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia (Project Energy Connect -Transgrid).

Client: Transgrid

• Planning and coordination of day-to-day activities for the transmission line assembly and erection of steel towers.
• Management of subcontractors, coordination with rigging crews, crane companies, logistics teams and geotechnical teams meet the daily and weekly requirements.
• Review the IFC and shop drawings and raise CPS through InEight software.
• Preparation of detailed Work Instruction and methodologies for structural steel assembly and erection.
• Preparation of Work instruction for specific tasks like defect rectifications.
• Preparation of concept lift plans and conduct reviews for detailed lift plans.
• Monitor and manage the piling works, and steel assembly and erection works.
• Monitor the completion of the concrete works to plan the tower assembly activities.
• Weekly and monthly forecast the requirement of structural steel requirements and identify the shortages in advance.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to replenish the shortfall within the deadline.

• Crew roster management based on the planned activities along the 400kms section of the project.

Projects: Design, fabrication, supply and installation of structural steel for Arden Station, North Melbourne. CBD South Tunnel Caverns (City Square Metro Rail Tunnel Station), CBD North Tunnel Caverns (State Library Metro Rail Tunnel Station), 24 Tunnel Cross Passages, Preston Level Crossing Removal Project, Craigieburn Hospital, 480 Swan St, 299 Burke St (strengthening and rehabilitation), Younghusband Wool store redevelopment and several commercial projects across all Melbourne. 900 Precast concrete plank erection and in-situ casting of header beams for OTE rails in CBD North and South Tunnel caverns.

Clients: CYP (Cross Yarra Partnership) for Metro tunnels, Built for 480 Swan St, Lendlease for Craigieburn Hospital, Maben for 299 Bourke St, John Holland for Preston Level Crossing Removal Project and Built for Younghusband Wool store redevelopment Project.

• Planning and preparation of daily and weekly plan for the various rigging crews.
• Conduct site visits prior to the work and identify any additional risks which may impact the works.
• Conduct meetings with client and other contractors involved in the construction to review the overlapping of works.
• Preparation of lifting plans and erection methodologies for each project based on the site conditions/ client requirements.
• Prepare erection sequences for complex lifting tasks.
• Identify the temporary engineering requirement like scaffolding, hydraulic jacks, platforms, props for the installation of structural steel.
• Inspect the structural steel and precast concrete section prior to the work.
• Conduct factory inspections in the galvanising yard and painting yard and ensure the DFT as per the specifications.

Project 3: Muscat Expressway Widening in Bausher.

Client : Shell Oman Marketing Company

• Muscat Expressway Widening Project, 2.3 kms of 2 lanes widening at Bausher.
• Worked as a Project Engineer for the Muscat Expressway Widening Project consisting of bulk earthwork, Granular Sub-base work (GSB), Aggregate Base Course work (ABC), Dense Bituminous Macadam work (DBM), Bituminous Macadam Works (BM), Bituminous Concrete works (BC), crude oil gas and water pipeline protection and diversion, Slope protection, drainage works, MSE wall, pipe/box culverts, and crash barriers.
• Coordinated Project Quality management by arranging various quality tests for the materials, working as a site engineer when needed.
• Managed the casting of precast elements for the MSE wall and the drainage systems.
• Managed the diversion and protection of Crude Oil, Gas and Main water pipelines with diameter more than 48 inches.
• Protection of the pipeline involves removal of the existing fusion bonded epoxy coating removal, sand blasting and application of new fusion boded epoxy to the crude oil and gas pipelines up to 1km.
• Conducting QA check for the crude oil and gas pipeline protection.
• Managed diversion of 48” diameter water pipelines.
• Managed the diversion and replacement of telecommunication towers and fibre optic cables.

Project 2: Finland, Oman School

Client: German University of Technology Oman

• Construction of two school buildings and a sports complex (8000 sqm, G+1 composite and pre-engineered structure)Site management and execution of Finland Oman School, consisting of 2 composite school buildings and a pre-engineered sporting complex.
• Assisted Project Manager in scheduling, resource planning and procurement and monitored the schedule as per the program and resolved issues quickly to remain within scope.
• IFC drawing review and technical query raising during the construction phase.
• Preparation of lifting plans and methodology for the structural steel erection.
• Preparation of variations and review of sub-contractor invoices.
• Material procurement and delivery tracking.
• Developed ITRs for the testing and conducted QA checks as per the ITP and ITRs.
• Carry out structural steel inspections and precast element inspections.

Project 1: Oman Air Flight Training Center

Client: Oman Air SAOG

• Construction of Flight Simulator Building at Seeb (6000sqm, G+1 composite structure)
• Site Management, stakeholder & consultant coordination, and execution of the composite building construction of the Oman Air Flight Training Centre at Seeb, Oman.
• Supervised all the structural/ precast works and finishing work from the beginning to the end.
• Carried out subcontract document preparation, technical query raising, approved material samples, and material planning.
• Completed site engineer duties when required, especially during the casting and fabrication of both precast elements and structural steel components.
• Also, managed the construction of elevated swimming pool and machine foundations for the flight simulator.

• Completed bulk earthwork for various projects as a subcontractor and supervised asphalt works for various Ministry of Transport projects across Oman.
• Executed several box culverts, pipe culverts, slope protection works, and other drainage works.

• Developed ITRs and managed the QA/QC requirement of all the works.
• Execution of several medium sized bulk earthwork and road work projects with various clients and consultants across Al Buraimi, Oman.

Projects: Design and Construction of 70kms Roads in Wilayat Buraimi & As Sunainah and 30kms, project in Wilayat Liwa, Various Oil and Gas field works for Petroleum Development Oman in the Northern oil fields.

• Design and construction 70kms of roads in Wilayat Buraimi and Sinena, Oman (from 2011-2012).
• Design and construction of 30kms of roads in Wilayat Liwa (from 2010-2011).
• Construction of 200 kms graded roads in North Oman oil and gas fields (from 2008-2009).
• Maintenance of 2000kms of unsealed roads and construction of 50 oil and gas rig locations including mud pits for PDO Oman (from 2009-2010).

Project 1: Rehabilitation and realignment of State Highway 25, Karnataka

Client: Public Works Department, Government of Karnataka.

Project 2: Inner Infrastructure Roads for Onshore Gas Terminal at Yanam, India

Client: Reliance Industries Ltd.

• Project 1 was Realignment and construction of 52km State Highway-25 including earthwork, GSB, ABC, Asphalt, and structural works.
• Project 2 was Land development and construction of 36 kms of Inner Infrastructure Roads, Major District Roads and office buildings for Onshore Gas Terminal and Port Project in Yanam, India. The project consisted of several reclamation grounds and major flyover bridges.
• Rehabilitation and realignment of State Highway 25, Karnataka, India (from 06/2006-05/2008).
• Construction of Office buildings and inner infrastructure Roads for Onshore Gas Terminal at Yanam, India. (from 06/2008-10/2008).
• Assisted the Senior Engineer to prepare the day-to-day activity schedules.
• Supervised skilled labours for the earthwork and structural works including buildings, foundations, culverts, drains and bridges along the road alignment.
• Conducted maintenance works on the existing 14 bridges of the 52 km road section and carried out strengthening works, concrete and paint repairs for the existing structures.
• Preparation of ITRs and lead the site inspections for field density checks, core cutting and level checks.
• Worked in Afcons laboratory and familiarised concrete cube tests, CBR tests, sieve analysis for the road layers including asphalt and seal coats. Also, conducted quality checks for the bitumen and tack coats.
