My role also requires me to supervise enrolled nurses, assistants in nursing and nursing students as a member of the nursing team
I also have sound knowledge of HIBISCUS, CIMHA, IEMR, care plans in CIMHA
I have also performed ECT nurse in PAH backfilling ECT Coordinator
This job entailed me to prioritise the patients having ECT on the list, liaising with doctors, nurses in recovery after ECT and nurses in the ward for post ECT care
I have also been acting clinical nurse from time to time and worked under pressure to deliver effective nursing care
As a clinical nurse I effectively did assessment, planning, delivery and ongoing evaluation of care and service to patients in collaboration with multi-disciplinary team
This included all aspects of daily living such as physical, spiritual, social and psychological needs
I have also taken steps to ensure my safety as well as safety of my staff at work as well as effectively coordinated and allocated workloads according to skill mix of my staff
I am an authorised mental health practitioner and have sound knowledge of Mental Health Act and use my knowledge on a day to day basis to deliver patient care.
