In both roles communication is a key skill that must be maintained as managing children acquires a lot of communication which is much different to adults and is crucial to understand. Working in hospitality requires great communication skills as well as it is crucial to accommodate each customer’s request to their satisfaction. This is a key skill I have that is vital in any real-world scenario or in professional setting and prove to be an advantageous skill to have.
Leadership Experience
As a student teacher and waitress, I have maintained a positive environment in both settings, which encourages my colleagues in the restaurant to give an amazing experience for the customers and the children maintain an appropriate behaviour management and level of engagement.
