Within any future workplace I strive to work efficiently, effectively and to gain and expand my knowledge. I am grateful for any opportunity presented and always aim to bring a positive energy to my workplace and team. When in leadership positions, I pride myself in encouraging my team to achieve their best and I ensure my tasks and workload are complete and correct. I am able to problem solve and work autonomously, when needed, when comfortable. Outside of work, I am complimented on my humble personality and I enjoy staying connected to my environment.
During my time at Officeworks, I have been gaining experience in multiple departments, most recently technology and receiving. I often find myself heavily supporting the leadership team and have spent time leading my team, in between managers.
Whilst I had a short employment with Orrcon, further exposure to the industry and learning how to operate overhead cranes, is a skill grateful to have obtained. After checking equipment, my role consistedcorrectly labeled, organised and prepared steel bundles, then safely loaded product to racks or trucks, returning crane to safe zone when finished.
I worked between fresh produce and the checkout, covering areas of stocking, packing and providing great customer service. Towards the end of my employment, I was leading afternoon shifts.
I completed my secondary schooling, focused on sheep farming and Agriculture in general, some tasks I completed at the school farm were;
We also competed in shows. From there, learning how to prepare animals, supplies for their travel/stay and self organisation were notable skills.
