Accomplishments

  • Being able to share our family values with a young girl who has been in the foster system since she was 5 and suffering a lot of mental health challenge's. The young girl started spending time with our family when she was 8 and is now 18 we encouraged good values and being part of a stable family, really made my heart melt and made her blossom. It was my daughters best friend through primary school that she took under her wing.
  • When starting my new career in Support work I am very proud of how quickly I was recognized for the passion I have for caring for others and attention to detail. Initially this lead to a position that was proposed to me to take on the CAS (Community Access Service) role. I then became part of the management team. Ivy's then had a position become available due to one of the SIL Coordinator/Manager moving on to her own business. The owner approached me and asked if I would be interested in fulling the position. Jumping at the offer I took It on which came with my own company car, credit card, computer and a work phone for community clients to be able to contact me.
