17 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE MANAGEMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF MAJOR ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS

Engineer with 17 years of experience in managing large-scale technical projects in France and internationally, from DESIGN to CONSTRUCTION. Specialized in heating and cooling networks, including 4th and 5th generation networks, as well as in renewable energies (thermal and photovoltaic solar), I am also a specialist in wastewater and sea water energy recovery. My career has allowed me to lead large-scale projects and grow within leading companies such as Dalkia and Veolia. Bilingual in French and English, I have strong expertise in managing multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER, Veolia Energy and Industry, Australia and New Zealand  

Smart City Eco-District – MACPOINT, Hobart (TAS) (15M$): Design and feasibility of a 4th generation temperate water network, integrating a 12 MW energy recovery from a sea water pumping station, Electrical power infrastructure as well as the connection of several substations, each composed of heat pump.  
University Campus – USQ, Brisbane (QLD, Australia) (5M$): Rehabilitation of a 3.6 MW cooling plant. Optimization of efficiency and reliability by integrating a cascade of TRANE chillers, thermal storage and cooling towers. Update of 8 substations composed of new heat exchangers and PICV regulation valves. HUBGRADE smart monitoring for real-time tracking and predictive maintenance.  
Thomas Foods International (industrial slaughterhouse) – Adelaide (SA, Australia) (38M$): Design of a solar thermal plant composed of 25,000 m² of ground-mounted solar panels (TVP Solar) and a 4,000 m³ energy storage system. Thus enabling the decarbonization of the industrial meat process.

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER WITHIN THE TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT FOR MAJOR PROJECTS, Dalkia EDF Group, Mediterranean Region, France 

Nice Côte d’Azur Airport (3.8M€): Complete rehabilitation of the 4.8 MW heating and cooling production plant, integrating a cascade of heat pumps, pumps, VFD, switch board and update Electrical power infrastructure. Optimization of air handling units with variable frequency drives (VFD): replacement of ventilation ducts and the regulation system, allowing for maximum optimization. Project management ensuring cost control and service continuity of airport operations.  
RESSOURCIA Grand Arenas – Nice (FR) (7M€): Design, Implementation and commissioning of a decentralized temperate water network (Promenade des anglais) and a 24 MW exchange pumping station wastewater energy recovery from the Haliotis treatment plant. Including mechanical and electrical infrastructure.   
Connection of the Ressourcia network to several substations: Modeling and implementation for network connections to the Crown Plaza and Radisson hotels (Nice, FR), a 36,000 m² commercial building. Regarding Nice International Airport, it was connected to the network simultaneously, enabling the use of existing geothermal probes in case of failure.  
National Solar Expert for Dalkia France: Audits and expertise on several Dalkia EDF solar sites across the country, and supervision of new projects.

CONSULTING ENGINEER IN ENERGY THERMAL SYSTEMS AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOR BUILDING AND INDUSTRY, IMBI Consulting Sarl, France  

AERIS Project: Positive energy wastewater treatment plant, Cagnes-sur-Mer (FR): For Veolia Water Technology: Design of thermal systems, feasibility studies for heat recovery, optimization of energy efficiency, and work supervision.

Administrative and financial management of SME: recruitment/planning/staff (20 people), commercial strategy, operational technical management of projects.

Construction: Design and Implementation of solar air conditioning system via an adsorption machine for the city of Mandelieu la Napoule (06), Collective Solar Thermal Plants for several municipal buildings for the city of PANTIN (93). Design and installation of solar thermal and multi-energy systems for municipal infrastructures, villas, passive housing, etc...  
Innovation, R&D: Design and development of a Drain-back solar thermal system without pressure in a closed circuit using water. Design and development of a plug and play multi-energy management pilot, INTEGRA (supported by states funds up to 200,000 euros). Integration of communicative control on all manufactoring products, remote maintenance, consumption and production monitoring (ADEME heat fund). Research Program on Thermal Energy Storage using Phase Change Materials (PCM), ENSAM ParisTech (PhD Thesis).

This selection highlights some of the major projects I have had the opportunity to lead throughout my career. Many other projects have also been successfully completed under my supervision, such as a 3,000 m² solar thermal plant (TVP) (Canjuers military base), cogeneration rehabilitation, and financial modeling for the acquisition of solar farm assets (Woodlawn and Warwick).
