I offer a strong background in the Retail industry, been working with woolworths for almost 10 years now. Started my journy in retail whilsat i was still in school taking work experience in Home hardware and IGA in Gloucester which gave me the desire to continue working in a similar environment. The last 6 years I have been in a leadership role, Seasoned Fruit and veg Manager proficient in operational procedures, leading teams and training employees. Reliable and diligent professional with first-rate skills in assigning, overseeing and assessing work. Received Fruit and veg Manager of the year for my area this year, which has become the highlight in my career with the company.
Worked as a manager for 3 years with this store and had great success, delivered high standards, and impressive results. Awarded Fruit and veg manager of the year for my group in July.
I have spent the last 3 year developing my leaderships skills and working hard to reach my goal of becoming a Fruit and veg manager with Woolworths. I have learnt to work at and maintain a high standard across the department to achieve great results both financially and team upskilling. Creating an excellent environment for customer to feel welcome.
I had to opportunity to develop my leadership skills in this store as my produce department didn't have a 2ic role so i got the learn all the tasks associated with the role which created a goal to reach that level.
Worked directly with the owner of the business in delivering amazing lawn and garden care up until he made a career change and closed the business.
General tasks completed:
I worked in Produce learning more about different varieties of Fruit and veg i wasn't accustomed to in NSW.
When i started my journey in Retail i was cross trained in many departments of Woolworths, Including Produce, Front end, and Deli.
