Leadership
· Lead and manage the Researcher Development and Impact team.
· Provide high quality, authoritative and timely advice on researcher development, research engagement and impact to stakeholders across the University, including briefs to the senior executive.
· Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships across the institution to deliver researcher development and impact initiatives.
Researcher Development
· Develop and maintain a researcher development strategy and framework for UQ.
· Coordinate the evaluation of and reporting on UQ’s researcher development program.
· Maintain an expert understanding of best practice in researcher development and use this to inform continual improvement and updating of the framework and activities.
Research Impact
· Develop and implement analytics and evaluation processes for tracking, measuring and reporting on research impact;
· Lead initiatives that enable the communication, curation and celebration of research impact at the University;
· Manage and deliver training to establish best practice and improve research impact literacy throughout the University, in collaboration with other units;
· Maintain an expert understanding of impact reporting requirements nationally and globally, with an emphasis on ARC and NHMRC requirements;
