Tom Wendorff

I am an enthusiastic IT professional who was born and raised in Hamburg, northern Germany. In 2022, I gained my Australian permanent residency.

I started my professional career in 2016 after gaining my German high school diploma. My first stop was a three-year apprenticeship in finance, resulting in a Diploma as a management assistant for insurance and finance. After the apprenticeship, I set my focus on cyber insurance for a wide range of clients in the German, Austria, and Switzerland area. Concurrently, I started my bachelors-degree in business psychology at the University Fresenius of Applied Science in Hamburg. The degree was structured as an extra-occupational studies, which gave me the opportunity to work and study at the same time.

In February 2021 I started as an IT Administrator for a medium-sized real estate company. During my time there, I was able to expand my range of skills in IT, project- and process management.

In February 2023 I successfully gained a bachelor of science in business psychology.

Communication has always been one of my strong points. I like to work in teams and drive to create the best possible outcome, especially in tricky situations.
