• I was currently working with Caleys as a basic scaffolder along the Kwinana Beach on Acciona’s Energy Waste Plant. My job role whilst working with Caleys was being a groundy. I had learned my tube size’s and components such as 900mm to 3m tubes. I had learnt my 90’s, swivels,butterfly’s, beamy’s, singles, ladder hooks and Bertern’s (doubles). I also gathered lashing skills as time passed. We were working with tube n clip which was an advantage as I was fresh to the scaffolding scene. My crew where focused on modification jobs more then the structural side of scaffolder.

• At Pavilion Farms I could say I was the youngest but most experienced at the time for my work instructions as I was leading a team of 4 to cooperate on our daily tasks …whilst working at pavilion farm I had guided 2 managers through management roles as i had the knowledge of what was expected by the boss’s and all above me…I was to plan out our weekly task’s for myself and my farm hand…Pavilion farms was a hands on work environment as we collected dead chickens and culled the unresponsive chickens to keep an rspca expectations…and after the dead run we were to clean and maintain the outside of sheds…clean, earthmoving and so fourth.Working on Pavilion Farms I had gathered a lot of experience’s such as operating Tally handlers, Bob cats (skid steers), moxy’s and excavators from 5t up.

Myself was on the job roll of feeding the packers boxes but had turned the 2 man job into one, and in between doing that job, I had learnt how to operate a manitou fork lift and tipped the reject bins ready to take them to the tip during my break time since I was eager to learn more and new tasks in every chance I was given.
